Mais \u00e0 partir de cette ann\u00e9e, la date de la nouvelle ann\u00e9e fut chang\u00e9 par le Roi Charles IX. Il d\u00e9cida donc de faire commencer l\u2019ann\u00e9e le 1<sup>er<\/sup> janvier. Donc les gens se donnaient des cadeaux et se souhaitaient \u00ab\u00a0bonne ann\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb le 1<sup>er<\/sup> janvier mais certaines personnes ne savaient pas que la date de la nouvelle ann\u00e9e avait chang\u00e9\u00a0et s\u2019offraient\u00a0 toujours des cadeaux le 1<sup>er<\/sup> avril. Pour se moquer d\u2019eux, certaines personnes leur offraient des faux cadeaux (blagues, farces).
