Il est Indien. Son vrai nom est Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.<br \/>\n<strong>Son m\u00e9tier\u2026<\/strong><br \/>\nIl a fait des \u00e9tudes en Angleterre. Apr\u00e8s l\u2019obtention de ses dipl\u00f4mes, il revient en Inde et exerce le m\u00e9tier d\u2019avocat.<br \/>\n<strong>Les luttes\u2026<\/strong><br \/>\nGandhi a aid\u00e9 les pauvres. Il a \u0153uvr\u00e9 pour la lib\u00e9ration des femmes indiennes. Il a encourag\u00e9 la fraternit\u00e9. Il a \u00e9galement fait la marche du sel car il \u00e9tait contre la taxe sur le sel.<br \/>\n<strong>La mort de Gandhi &#8230;<\/strong><br \/>\nIl a \u00e9t\u00e9 assassin\u00e9\u00a0 le 30 Janvier 1948, par trois balles lors d\u2019une pri\u00e8re publique Nathuram Godse car on lui reprochait d\u2019\u00eatre trop favorable \u00e0 la cause des indiens musulmans.<br \/>\n<strong>Le nom de notre lyc\u00e9e&#8230;<\/strong><br \/>\nD\u2019un commun accord, la mairie et la r\u00e9gion ont choisi et attribu\u00e9 le nom Mahatma Gandhi \u00e0 notre lyc\u00e9e.
